Our Mission

We believe our mission is to provide professional standards and training, leadership and certification for animal service officers, shelter staff, and animal welfare personnel as we work to protect Utah’s citizens and their animals while elevating the integrity of the profession. 

Our Vision

Our vision for the future of our association, and indeed that of animal welfare in the state of Utah, is one of cooperation and collaboration. By building relationships between municipal agencies and private organizations we can work together, leverage partnerships and resources to achieve our shared goals for animal welfare.
